The two pre-processors are remarkably similar in many respects, so if you are familiar with LESS will have no trouble in quickly understanding Sass. You will also quickly understand why Sass has become the only choice for professional front-end developers.
Version 3 of the Oneweb framework was built with LESS, but the inefficiency of it's output soon became obvious, so the framework was ported to Sass instead.
